Vi-Ability ‘Business of Sport Course’ SMP Pilot

SMP has been chosen as a pilot scheme to deliver a brand new bespoke course created by industry professionals that provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge needed to work within the sports industry.
The 8 week course delivers employability skills, fosters entrepreneurship, and activities undertaken will support participants to develop confidence, interview skills and motivation. Those individuals that successfully complete the course will gain the following qualifications:
- BTEC Level 2 award in Football Industries
- Level 1 Health and Safety
- Sports Leadership
- First Aid
On completion of the programme and the volunteering requirements students will also be given an opportunity to travel to Europe for 2 weeks to see how a top club runs in Europe or the opportunity to go to India to volunteer with the Vi-Ability India programme.
