SMP Produce 10 New Level-2 Coaches
10 candidates successfully passed their F.A Level-2 Football Coaching course on Sunday, 27 October. The course, set up by SMP, was the first ever F.A Level-2 course to be held in Brockwell Park, using the newly refurbished bowling pavilion as a classroom.
The course was run by the London F.A for local coaches selected by the SMP to access – free of charge – avoiding long journeys to usual F.A course venues at Walthamstow and Shooters Hill.
It was a long journey of another kind for the candidates, who started out at the end of May, but all very worthwhile in the end, and great to see all their hard work and determination rewarded.
The London F.A were so impressed with the candidates and the classroom facilities that they have offered to run an additional F.A Youth Module 1 course in Brockwell in the near future. Congratulations to all involved.
