St. Matthew’s Project coach, Hiram Laud-Anderson has started his UEFA B Licence course at the FA’s new national centre at St George’s Park, Staffordshire. Hiram and fellow coach Ashley Bosah were accepted onto the new COACH Bursary Programme after being nominated by the SMP. The programme is being run by former West Brom star and deputy chief executive of the Professional Footballers’ Association Brendon Batson, in conjunction with the Premier League, the Football League, the League Managers’ Association and the PFA. The bursary is aimed at addressing the under-representation of black coaches at higher levels of the coaching profession.
