Our Female Football Festival in the Activate Zone at the Lambeth Country Show in Brockwell Park on 15 & 16 July was a brilliant advert for the women’s game. On Saturday our own SMP girls triumphed in the 11-16s age group after a dramatic final against CEF Linx girls from Lewisham, after extra time and penalties.

On Sunday we hosted our women’s tournament, which saw an amazing 14 teams and 95 players from across London taking part! Congratulations to Latin American Women United who were crowned champions and a big well done, too, to our runners-up Brentford Ladies. A special shout goes out to our youngest entrants, Swift F.C, who came all the way from Hayes, Middlesex.
