In November 2021 The St Matthews project created their very first Youth Board. This has been created to represent young people at the project and help them to have an impact and influence what we deliver at the Project. Ten young people will have the opportunity to make decisions, along with the Project Coordinator and Project Manager to benefit the young people and families who engage with the project, along with members of the local community. Our Youth Board are kindly sponsored by Street Games.

The board members will represent the views of their friends and peers and bring these views to meetings to discuss ways of enhancing, maintaining or adapting activities in order to ensure that the project is providing the best possible experiences for all. The Youth Board will meet once a month at a designated meeting space, sharing thoughts and ideas over refreshments whilst influencing project matters.
